Sugarcult，又称糖果崇拜、糖果邪教，是一支来自加利福尼亚州的朋克乐队，1998年组建，风格pop punk/power pop/rock和大多流行朋克那样，歌曲充满青春活力，且不乏硬核的劲暴的旋律，还能找到SCHOOL-PUNK的曲风，非常有美国流行PUNK充满活力的FEEL。

组建过程

主唱Tim和鼓手Ben(当时弹贝斯)在学校结识，之后认识现任贝斯手Airin，他们三人成了好朋友，Tim邀请Airin加入他们的乐团，Ben担任鼓手，Airin弹贝斯。之后Tim在演唱会后台遇到Marko，缘分所至，当时两人身上穿的衣服很相像，Tim邀他加入乐队担任吉他手。后来Ben因为酗酒离开了乐队, Kenny Livingston(乐队Lefty的前鼓手)代替了Ben. 关于乐队名称Sugarcult,是来源于主唱Tim家附近的女同性恋。他称这些邻居为”Sugar Cult girls”.

乐队作品

Sugarcult于1997年发行他们的首张专辑《Eleven》,并于1999年再版。第二张专辑《Wrap Me Up in Plastic》发行于2000年，此专辑中一些名作仍被收录于第三张专辑「Start Static」当中并于2002年5月又再度发行. 此前Sugarcult于2001年由Rumbo唱片发行了他们的第三张专辑《Start Static》,这是鼓手Ben 离团前的最后一张作品.2004年4月13日，大碟《Palm Trees and Power Lines》发行, 首周就卖出了2万2千张，在Billboard上也有46位的成绩.《Back to the Disaster》是Sugarcult于2005年发行的live CD/VCD.《Lights Out》—他们的最新专辑，于2006年9月12日由V2唱片发行，发行后乐队开始了秋季和冬季巡演.
