周利群（1964年11月生），男，医学博士，毕业于白求恩医科大英语医学系（1987年）和首都医科大学（1992年）。现任北京大学第一医院泌尿外科主任、主任医师、教授、博士生导师，以及北京大学泌尿外科研究所所长。周利群专业特长为泌尿生殖系统肿瘤、腔内泌尿外科学，尤其是腹腔镜技术在泌尿外科领域的应用以及各类复杂性泌尿生殖系统肿瘤的诊治。他曾荣获2000年度中华医学会爱惜康中青年外科奖（二等奖）。
承担多项国家及省部级课题，包括卫计委重大课题、“863”及科委重大课题子课题、多个国自然项目、首发及首特重点项目等。科研工作以泌尿生殖系统肿瘤，特别是前列腺癌的分子病因学为主，曾主持国家自然科学基金课题3项，“211”工程项目基金2项，其它国家级科研课题1项，参加2项。
发表文章414篇，其中SCI文章184篇, 第一及责任作者129篇；主编著作6部，副主编3部，主译2部。近年10篇代表性论著：
