张兵，博士，研究员，博士生导师，现任中国科学院遥感与数字地球研究所副所长、中国科学院数字地球重点实验室主任。
国家百千万人才工程入选者。
1987-1991: 北京大学，理学学士。
1991-1994: 中国科学院遥感应用研究所，理学硕士。
2000-2003: 中国科学院遥感应用研究所，理学博士。
1994-2002：中国科学院遥感应用研究所，研究实习员、助理研究员、副研究员。期间担任过中科院遥感信息科学开放研究实验室副主任。
2003-2007：中国科学院遥感应用研究所，研究员，高光谱遥感研究室主任。期间担任过中科院遥感应用研究所科技处处长、所长助理。
2007-2012：中国科学院对地观测与数字地球科学中心，研究员，中心副主任，兼任中国科学院星数字地球重点实验室副主任。
2012.11至今：中国科学院遥感与数字地球研究所，研究员（二级），副所长，兼任中科院数字地球重点实验室主任。
