王克雄，男，1963年12月出生于湖北黄梅县。1998年和2005年分别获得中国科学院水生生物研究所水生生物专业硕士和博士学位。现任中国科学院水生生物研究所研究员，专注于鲸目行为生态学、生物声学和保护生物学的研究。

研究方向

王克雄的研究领域涵盖水生哺乳动物的生物声学、行为生态学以及保护生物学。他特别关注鲸类的声学特征、行为发展及其对环境的适应，以及鲸类资源的保护。

主持项目

王克雄研究员主持了多项重要研究项目，包括中国科学院院长基金项目、国家自然科学基金面上项目、海洋公园保育基金项目、工程建设环境影响评价专题项目等。目前，他正主持三峡工程公司签约项目，并计划开展对江豚、中华白海豚的声学观察、行为发展、行为适应以及噪声影响等方面的研究。

所获荣誉

王克雄参与的“长江江豚迁地保护”项目（与王丁、张先锋等15位完成人合作）在2008年荣获湖北省科学技术进步奖一等奖。他与王丁合著的《远逝的长江女神》（江苏科学技术出版社出版）获得了“中华读书报”百佳和科技部全国优秀科普作品的荣誉。
