胡璋剑，男，1957年11月出生，浙江桐乡人。中国数学会、美国数学学会会员，浙江省数学会常务理事，博士，教授，湖州师范学院院长，硕士研究生导师。浙江省重点扶植学科（纯粹数学）和浙江省重点专业（数学与应用数学）负责人。1980年7月毕业于湖州师院（原湖州师专）数学专业并留校任教，1987年9月加入中国共产党，在1989年7月毕业于杭州大学数学系基础数学专业硕士研究生，多复变函数领域的30多项研究成果刊登在国际、国内核心数学刊物上，特别是先后成功解决了国外数学家提出的五个猜想。曾获曾宪梓全国高等师范院校优秀教师奖一等奖、国务院政府特殊津贴和浙江省151人才工程第一层次人才、省优秀教师等称号。

胡璋剑教授长期从事多复变函数论的研究工作，就多复变函数空间和算子理论的研究取得了一系列丰硕的成果，在《中国科学》、《数学年刊》、《数学学报》、《Proc. Royal Soc. Edinburgh》、《Potential Anal.》、《Math. Nachr. 》、《J. Math. Anal. Appl.》、《Proc. Amer. Math. Soc.》和《Bull. Australia Math. Soc.》等学术刊物上发表论文50余篇；2001年在美国北卡罗来纳州(Chapel Hill)大学学术访问，期间应邀在格鲁吉亚大学和阿拉巴马大学作学术报告，2002年分别在北京国际数学家大会和国际数学家大会中国科技大学分会应邀作学术报告，报告内容被收入会议论文集，在这一研究方向上有着卓有成效的工作。
