M. Ward，男，出生于加利福尼亚州是一名歌手，吉他手。
人物生平
1999年，他的首个专辑 Duet for Guitars #2, 由 Howe Gelb出品。01年他发行了自己的专辑End of Amnesia，出品方是Future Farmer Records。他参与过许多乐队专辑和单曲的录制，编曲，如Cat Power, Neko CASE, Beth Orton, The Court \u0026 Spark, Bright Eyes, Jenny Lewis , and My Morning Jacket.
2005年，他参与了Burtch, Lytle 和 Fairchild 组织的一个项目 Arizona Amp and Alternator。
2006年，参与制作了向 John Fahey 致敬的专辑 I Am the Resurrection，还贡献了一首单曲，Norah Jones的专辑 Not Too Late 里也有他的声音。新西兰电影 Eagle vs Shark 还收录了他翻唱的 David Bowie的歌曲 "Let's Dance" 作为插曲。
06年他出版了专辑 Post-War，初次遇见女演员 Zooey Deschanel, 并合作了一首二重唱。后来他们组建了INDIE POP乐队：She \u0026 Him 。他们的首张专辑取名为 Volume One，由沃德担任制作人，Merge Records 出品，发行于2008年3月18日。之后他们还陆续出版了Volume Two 和一张圣诞节专辑，在业内反响都不错。他和Deschanel担任了第九届独立音乐奖的评委 Independent 音乐 Awards. 2009年，他还发行了自己第六张个人专辑 Hold 时间。
沃德还曾是乐队 Rodriguez 的一员，他们的作品有wing Like a Metronome。他的另一个乐队 Monsters of 民俗音乐, 也出版了同名专辑。
