刘超，男，北京师范大学心理学部认知神经科学与学习国家重点实验室教授、博士生导师，中组部“万人计划”青年拔尖人才，国家社科重大项目首席专家，国家重点研发计划重点专项课题负责人。
刘超于2010年获密歇根大学心理学博士学位，获美国心理学会（APA）Dissertation Research Award。现担任中国心理学会情绪与健康心理学分会理事，国际社会神经科学学会(S4SN)中国分会理事。研究方向为情绪与社会认知神经科学，主要关注情绪在社会认知尤其是道德认知中的调控作用和脑机制，及其在教育、管理与安防等领域的应用。

研究方向为情绪与社会认知神经科学，主要关注情绪在社会认知尤其是道德认知中的调控作用和脑机制，及其在教育、管理与安防等领域的应用。如负罪感、羞愧以及同情等在人类道德观及利他行为的形成中所起的调节作用；各种积极与消极社会情绪(赞赏、厌恶、喜悦、憎恨、嫉妒等等)在人类小群体交互行为，如竞争与合作、惩罚与奖赏、决策与博弈等行为中所发挥的影响等。
