叶鹰，字福翔（Fred Y. Ye），理学学士，文学硕士，哲学博士。1992年、2010年德国访问学者；2000-2001年美国Fulbright研究学者。欧洲文理科学院院士（Active member, European Academy of Sciences and Arts） ；国际科学计量学和信息计量学会（ISSI）终身会员。现任南京大学二级教授、图书情报学博士生导师；曾任浙江大学教授（2002-2012）、信息资源管理博士生导师（2008-2012）。学术专长：定量信息分析。在JASIST , Journal of Informetrics , Scientometrics 等国内外学术期刊上发表和合作发表论文共80余篇。

主要学术贡献

（1）对信息计量经验规律的统一理论进行了新的探索，用波动-扩散方程组表述其机理；

（2）对h指数的三类数学模型进行了系统实证检验和理论分析，证明在 Heaps定律存在下三类模型可以统一；

（3）对h核h尾分布规律   进行了深入研究，并发展科学测度学。此外，提出可书理学、三元哲学等新思想。
