张树义，1964年6月生，临江市人。现任华东师范大学教授、博士生导师，科学与技术跨学科高等研究院院长。华东师范大学第七届学术委员会委员，第一届师资队伍建设委员会副主任委员。
1983.9至1987.7在东北师范大学生物系生物学专业获理学学士；
1987.9至1989.6东北师范大学环境科学系硕士研究生；
1989.9至1990.7在法国第十三大学获得行为生物学专业“深入研究”文凭；
1990.9至1994.12在法国居里大学获得行为生态学专业博士文凭；
1995年5月受中国科学院“百人计划”项目资助，到动物研究所工作，任助理研究员；
1997年任中国科学院动物研究所研究员，博士生导师；
2006年任华东师范大学生命科学院教授，博士生导师；
2008年12月24日入选法律人俱乐部。
给研究生讲授《动物生态学》、《行为生态学》。
