男，汉族1967年11月1日出生，博士（后），教授，博士研究生导师，中国民主同盟盟员。1991年7月毕业于西北农林科技大学兽医学专业，获农学学士。1991年9月考取西北农业大学兽医内科学专业家畜中毒性疾病研究方向硕士研究生，2002年遴选为硕士生导师。2005年被评为西北农林科技大学青年学术骨干，同年在新西兰Lincoln University研修。2006年12月晋升教授，同年被评为“西北农林科技大学优 秀教师”。2007年6月遴选为博士生导师，并入选2007年教育部“新世纪优秀 人才支持计划”。
现任西北农林科技大学动物医学院副院长。
童德文，男，汉族，博士，三级教授，博士生导师，教育部新世纪优秀 人才，教育部高等院校动物医学类专业教学指导委员会委员，陕西省三秦人才，陕西省重点科技创新团队“动物重大疫病新型疫苗研发创新团队”带头人，陕西省教学团队“基础兽医学教学团队”带头人，陕西省精品资源共享课程“动物病理解剖学”负责人，西北农林科技大学基础兽医学学科带头人，《动物医学进展》杂志副主编。
1994年7月毕业获农学硕士学位并留在该校兽医系基础兽医学教研室，主要从事动物病理学和动物毒理学的教研工作。1996年9月，考取西北农林科技大学临床兽医学专业博士研究生，2001年1月毕业获农学博士学位，同年12月晋升副教授，2002年遴选为硕士生导师。
现任西北农林科技大学动物医学院副院长。
