陈方，男，中国科学院遥感与数字地球研究所研究员，中国科学院“百人计划”入选者，中国科学院数字地球重点实验室全球灾害研究室副主任，CAS-TWAS空间减灾卓越中心常务副主任。

先后担任Oxford Research Encyclopedia自然灾害科学期刊编委、ISDE青年科学家委员会、GEO全球火灾工作组等国内外专业委员会委员。

2014年10月，当选为发展中国家科学院(TWAS)青年通讯院士。

科研项目

陆地生态系统碳储量估算的不确定性评估，中国科学院对地观测与数字地球科学中心“百人计划”启动项目，项目负责人。

学术成就

主要从事遥感科学与应用研究，方向为灾害遥感，重点开展自然火灾特征参量的遥感反演理论和应用研究，提出了水分制约条件下燃烧特性参数的遥感反演模式和火灾敏感度模型。他发表SCI论文20余篇，获国家发明专利1项，合作编写著作2部。
