来自阳光大地佛罗里达州的五人朋克男孩，组成了名为“黄色卡片”乐队。本着年轻而理性的音乐态度，他们将最完整的音乐呈现给大众。自2003年签入主流大厂发行专辑Ocean Avenue，至今已缔造两千五百余万张的惊人销售量，就连滚石音乐杂志读者也给予四星半近满分高评，一连三首进榜畅销单曲"Way Away"、"Ocean Avenue"及"Only One", 让Yellowcard身新世代最受瞩目之耀眼朋克乐团。
yellowcard（以下简称YC) 是一支来自佛罗里达州杰克逊维尔的五人组合，几年前同样来自高中的他们与龙虾唱片公司签下了处女作，他们的专辑“One For The Kid's”也在2001年四月发行，通过龙虾唱片公司可以了解他们更多的信息。
YC团员吉他手Ryan Mendez、鼓手Longineu Parsons Ⅲ（又称LP）（已于2014年3月离队）、临时鼓手Nathan Young、电提琴手Sean Mackin、贝斯手Peter Mosely，主唱瑞恩奇在2003年幸运地签入主流大厂，发行全新大碟《Ocean Avenue》。
制作人邀来NealAvron操刀坐镇，在首支单曲《WayAway》中快意飙出Emo-Punk的狂放音场，Sean不时倾泻出的小提琴拉奏功力，与失序的合音，都有着可圈可点的表现，并藉此曲鼓励人们努力追求自己的梦想，不要让枯燥烦闷的生活打垮自己！
不像一般碎心情歌的《Only One》，则描述理性与女友分手的过程，并试着去谅解与包容！深受乐迷喜爱及MTV超高点播的同名单曲《Ocean Avenue》，延续节奏明快激昂的朋克音浪，让Yellowcard的魅力持续发酵到2004年！
流畅的慢版之作《Empty Apartment》，感念着失去朋友的淡淡伤感之情；末曲的《BackHome》，陈述Ryan虽不顾一切追逐梦，但仍感远离了家人、失去了安全感、儿时玩伴，呼应出开场曲《WayAway》！言之有物的内容，写实地将你我周遭发生的种种，以正面语词表态出来，没有愤慨怒骂，没有唉声叹气，这就是Yellowcard秉持的摇滚意念！
08年宣布无限期修正的YC，经过两年半的沉默。于2010年八月 宣布复出。在加入Hopeless唱片公司后。YC将在2011年上半年进行世界巡回演唱会，同时新专辑《When you're through thinking,Say yes》已于2011年3月22日正式发行完整曲目列表如下

Live From Las Vegas features five tracks from Yellowcard’s current album Paper Walls (which debuted at Number 13 on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart,as well as at Number 3 on iTunes’ album chart),including the lead-off single “Light Up the Sky.” The live album also features Yellowcard’s previous singles “Way Away，” “Ocean Avenue，” and “Only One，” from the band’s double-platinum 2003 Capitol Records’ debut Ocean Avenue,as well as “Lights and Sounds” and “Rough Landing,Holly，” from their 2006 gold album Lights and Sounds.

两年多的休整期（Hiatus）后，Yellowcard宣布了新专辑即将发行的消息。07年发行了Paper Walls的Yellowcard在08年的巡演后宣布无限期的休整，主唱Ryan Key与Reeve Oliver的主唱Sean O'Donnell玩起了一个名为Big If的Side-Project，一度传闻要发行专辑；贝斯Pete Mosely发表离队声明，称要去继续发展非音乐方面的事业；而鼓手Longineu W. Parsons III也没有闲着，在09-10年成为了Adam Lambert巡演乐队中的一员；这次休整据猜测很大程度上是与老东家Capitol(EMI）有关，在09年发行了Deep Cut EP后，当Yellowcard回归的消息传出后，人们发现他们的YC标志又变回了Ocean Avenue之前的样子，而厂牌也改换成了Hopeless；除此之外，Big If的Myspace页面被删除，这恐怕是因为Sean O'Donnell加入了YC成为了新的贝司手，加上Yellowcard准备在2011年发两张专辑的传闻，可以肯定的说不少Big If的Demo会被重新编曲灌入这张When You're Through Thinking,Say Yes专辑中，其中包括For You,And Your Denial，Hide，Hang You Up,Sing For Me等在MySpace社区上很受歌迷肯定的曲目。
