张广照，男，1966年生，籍贯山东省，教授，博导，中共党员，现为华南理工大学材料学院教授，博士生导师。
1983-1987, 四川大学高分子材料系, 工学学士。
1987-1990, 中国科学院广州化学研究所, 理学硕士，专业高分子化学与物理。1995-1998, 复旦大学高分子科学系, 理学博士, 专业高分子化学与物理。
1990-1995, 中国科学院广州化学研究所, 助理研究员，从事高分子灌浆材料的研究。
1999-2001, 香港中文大学化学系, 博士后。
2001-2002, 美国马萨诸塞大学阿默斯特分校高分子科学与工程系, 博士后。
2002年起，中国科学技术大学化学物理系, 教授；合肥微尺度物质科学国家实验室, 研究员。
2010开始，华南理工大学材料科学与工程学院, 教授。
先后为本科生讲授“物理化学”, “高分子物理”, “材料化学”; 为研究生讲授“高分子凝聚态物理”, “高分子科学与工程进展”。
研究方向为高分子界面
专长于石英晶体微天平、微量量热、超速离心分析和激光光散射等高分子表征技术, 长期从事高分子构象变化与相互作用的基础研究，近年致力于海洋防污高分子材料和聚合物混凝土等界面材料的研究。
现研究领域
(1) 海洋防污高分子材料(2) 聚电解质的结构与性能(3) 聚合物混凝土(4) 高性能纤维聚合物的合成。
先后承担国家自然科学基金、科技部973和中国科学院知识创新工程等项目。
已发表在Macromolecules, J. Phys. Chem., Langmuir等专业期刊和Physics Review Letters, Journal of American Chemical Society, Accounts of Chemical Research, Advances in Polymer Science, Advanced Materials等期刊上(130余篇)，申请发明专利6项(4项已授权)。

曾获得冯新德高分子奖(2009和2011), 中国化学会高分子科学创新论文奖(2009), 中国分析测试协会(CAIA奖)科学技术二等奖(2009和2011), 安徽省优秀博士学位论文导师奖(2009)。
2007获国家杰出青年基金。
2023年8月31日，入选2023年中国科学院院士增选有效候选人名单。
