雷军，1960年出生于西藏拉萨市，博士，现任北京大学地球与空间科学学院副教授、北京大学环境振动监测与评估实验室主任、中国地球物理学会技术委员会委员、中国地震学会青年科技工作委员会委员。
1978~1983年，中国科学技术大学地球和空间科学系地球物理学专业，理学学士；
1983~1987年，从事水库诱发地震研究。主要参加浙江湖南镇、贵州乌江渡、湖南东江水库的诱发地震研究及近场地震监测；
1987~1992年，重大工程地震地震安全性研究。主要参加四川雅砻江锦屏水电站、秦山核电站、辽河石油勘探局、大同市铁路分局等国家重大工程及城市的抗震减灾工作，合作完成理论和工程专著3部；
1992年4月，与中国地震局地质研究所“四川雅江锦屏水电站地震安全性评价”工作组一起徒步翻越海拔4500米的锦屏山；
1995~1999年 中国地震局地质研究所地震地质专业，理学博士学位，博士论文题目《三分量地震矢量波场的分离与重建》；
1997年，国家地震烈度评定委员会颁发《地震安全性评价工作》个人甲级上岗证书；
1997~1998年，为完成相关的国家基金项目组织对京西北延庆怀来地区地震活动的野外监测；
1998年1月11日，组织自愿工作组在零下36℃条件下对1998年1月10日张北县6.2级地震余震的野外地震观测；
2004 北京大学2003~2004年度优秀班主任二等奖；
2001 《近场爆炸地震优化定位研究》陕西省自然科学优秀学术论文二等奖，排名第2；
2001 北京大学2000~2001年度优秀班主任二等奖；
1999 《三分量地震矢量波场的分离与重建》获1999年度中国地震局地质研究所特
别优秀博士论文奖；
1998 《不同地区地方震横波分裂理论研究和观测解释》（1998）获中国地震局部级科技进步二等奖，排名第2；
1993 《设计人工时程曲线的试验研究》获中核集团总公司部级科技进步二等奖一次，排名第5；
1987 《浙江湖南镇水库诱发地震研究》获国家地震局部级科技进步三等奖一次，排名第13 。
2004年 主持完成国家自然科学基金项目《日本东北部岛弧不同深度横波偏振各向异性与板块俯冲的关系》（40374008）；
2001~2002年 主持完成博士后基金项目《地震波震相矢量的分离》；
1999~2001年 主持完成国家自然科学基金项目《京西北地区横波分裂特征及其与构造环境的关系》（49874011）；
1997~1998年 主持完成国家自然科学基金项目《人类工程与断裂活动的对比研究》（49604053）；
1995~1996年 主持完成地震联合基金项目《云南剑川地震横波分裂研究》。
2006~2007年 北京大学地空学院主讲本科课程《地球物理学基础》和研究生课程《城市工程地震学》；
2002~2005年 北京大学地空学院主讲授本科生《地球物理观测实验》课程和研究生《城市工程地震学》课程;
1996~2002年 作为外聘教师在北京大学地质系为研究生讲授《工程地震安全性评价》和《城市地震灾害预测》课程；
2002年12月~2003年2月，日本爱媛大学地球动力学实验室访学；
2004年9月~2004年10月，美国Reftek公司（地震仪）工作访问；
2005年1月~2005年10月，美国明尼苏达大学地质与地球物理系交换访学。
