魏一鸣，1968年3月生于江西安远，现任北京理工大学管理与经济学院院长、能源与环境政策研究中心主任。1991年12月参加工作，1988年12月加入中国共产党。魏一鸣拥有工学博士学位，分别于1989年和1992年在昆明理工大学获得学士和硕士学位，1996年在北京科技大学获得博士学位。现任北京理工大学党委常委、副校长。魏一鸣的主要研究领域为能源环境系统工程和气候工程管理，担任中国优选法统筹法与经济数研究会副理事长。他曾入选中华人民共和国教育部2008年度“长江学者”特聘教授。2023年6月当选为俄罗斯工程院外籍院士，10月当选为德国国家工程院院士。
2000年9月，任中国科学院科技政策与管理科学研究所副所长；
2008年12月，任北京理工大学管理与经济学院院长；
2019年11月，任北京理工大学党委常委、副校长。
兼任中原地区优选法统筹法与经济数学研究会副理事长；能源经济与管理研究分会理事长、复杂系统研究分会理事长、计算机模拟分会副理事长。中国能源研究会能源系统工程专业委员会副主任；中国科学院预测科学研究中心副主任；《Applied Energy》、《International Journal of 管理学 and Decision Making》等12份国际学术期刊编委，及8份中国学术期刊编委。曾任中国科学院科技政策与管理科学研究所副所长（2000/10-2008/11）、中原地区科学院科技政策与管理科学研究所研究员、博士生导师（2001年起）。2000年日本先端科技大学访问副教授、2005年哈佛大学高级访问学者。
魏一鸣教授长期从事管理科学的研究工作，研究领域包括复杂系统与复杂性、资源与环境管理。在复杂系统分析与建模、能源与环境政策、资源开发战略、灾害风险评估与管理等方面开展了一些有价值的研究工作。先后主持国家自然科学基金重大国际合作项目、973课题、“十一五”国家科技支撑计划项目、国家自然科学基金重点项目、国家科技攻关课题、欧盟 FP7国际合作、国家杰出青年基金等重要科研课题40余项。
在国内外学术期刊发表学术论文200余篇, 其中在本领域国际一流学术期刊 能量 经济学, Energy Policy, Environmental Modelling and 软件, Energy, Ecological Economics，Journal of Policy Modeling等国际重要学术期刊发表论文50余篇；著作12部（含合著和合编）。发表的学术论文被同行引用超过3200次。向中央和国务院提交了多份政策咨询报告并得到了重视。
曾获国家杰出青年科学基金（2004年）、第七届中国青年科技奖（2001年）；纪念博士后制度20周年“全国优秀博士后”称号（2005年）、“首批新世纪百千万人才工程国家级人选”（2004年）；获国务院政府特殊津贴（2004年）；教育部“长江学者奖励计划”特聘教授（2008年度）。曾获4项省部级科学技术或自然科学奖。
魏一鸣教授特别重视研究生的培养，曾获中国科学院优秀研究生导师称号（2008年），主讲的研究生课程《工业工程与管理》、《管理系统工程》分别于2001年、2002年被中国科学院大学评为优秀课程；指导的研究生4人获中国科学院院长优秀奖；2人获北京市优秀博士学位论文、1人获全国优秀博士学位论文提名奖。
