杨石岭,1974年9月出生于陕西省子长市汉族男性。1995年7月毕业于西北大学地质学系,现任中国科学院地质与地球物理学研究所副所长(试用期一年)。他是一名研究员和博士生导师,曾获得国家杰出青年科学基金。

1995年7月毕业于地质学系,获学士

1998年7月毕业于中国科学院地质研究所,获硕士学位。

2001年7月毕业于中国科学院地质与地球物理研究所,获博士学位。

2001.08-2004.12 中国科学院地质与地球物理研究所助理研究员。

2004.12-2010.12 中国科学院地质与地球物理研究所副研究员。

2011.01- 中国科学院地质与地球物理学研究所研究员。

2005.04-2006.04 亚利桑那大学地球科学系博士后访问学者。

2022.04 任中国科学院地质与地球物理研究所副所长(试用期一年)。

3. 负责国家自然科学基金“黄土高原上新世红粘土记录的东亚夏季风空间格局”;

4. 负责中科院知识创新工程重要方向项目“增温过程和高温期黄土高原生态环境格局的历史相似型研究”。
