熊友才，男，生态学博士，教授，教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划入选者，美国《Crop Science》杂志和德国《Fresenius Environmental Bulletin》杂志（SCI期刊）和中文期刊《作物学报》、《植物生态学报》审稿人，印度National Environmental Science Academy任区域协调员，曾获加拿大农业部研究贡献奖。已经主持和参加国家及国际合作项目20余个，发表SCI文章20余篇。
博士：兰州大学干旱与草地业生教育部重点实验室（师从“长江学者”李凤民教授）；
博士后：北京师范大学生态学博士后流动站（合作导师为葛建平教授）；
博士后：加拿大农业部ECORC中心和McGill大学植物科学系；
